is the first camper van we have converted. It is a 2007 Nissan Interstar 120 dCi (Renault Master, Opel Movano) 120 dCi after a complete overhaul with a brand new engine in tow. It is an L2H2 van so is medium length and height. The van has seating for three people in the cabin, including an Isofix child seat anchorage. The second and third seats can be folded down while parked to create additional storage space. An average height person can easily stand up in the Bear. The living area is lined with wood and dominated by a solid wood kitchenette. The centrepiece of the van is a 140cm wide bed suspended 90cm off the ground so that you can sit on it comfortably. Under the bed it can carry plenty of cargo like, for example, a bicycle. The Campervan is designed for extended stays away from civilisation – it carries a powerful 340Wp solar panel and 70 litres of water. The living area of the van is powered by a modern LIFEPO4 battery. The battery is charged by both the solar panel and the alternator and provides almost unlimited energy, unless you’re cooking on an induction plate. This is limited to approximately 60 minutes on a single charge. We don’t use gas in the car. The van has multiple sources of LED lighting, including small lanterns above the bed to create a pleasant evening atmosphere. Van equipment included in the rental price:
