LYNX

is our smallest van, although it is the long version of the VW T4. The vehicle has served as a campervan for many years and in 2022 we decided to give it a second life – and we don’t just mean an overhaul. The vehicle is fully insulated with sheep’s wool, reupholstered, and lined with light birch plywood. The original interior has been renewed from the ground up. We’ve removed the kitchenette from the interior and replaced it with our ØNE slide-out module for added convenience. LYNX can safely carry up to 5 passengers. The rear bench seat can be variably moved in the van compartment between cruising and camping position. When unfolded, it turns into a 180cm long bed for two.

Sleeping for 2 more people is provided by the 120 x 200 cm roof tent with a 7 cm thick mattress with pad. The tent is waterproof, self-folding and stored in a clay box. In front of the tent there is a small terrace with a length of approximately 70 cm, from where you can have some great views, for example, to an evening glass of wine. The tent is of course included in the rental price.

The kitchenette, i.e. the ØNE pull-out module, provides everything you need to prepare meals on the go. Gas cooker, 15l compressor fridge, 20l water, tap with electric pump, crockery for 4 people, 2 pots, 2 pans, kettle and coffee maker. The module includes a spacious dry food storage compartment. The module is illuminated, so you can use it comfortably even at night.

The van has an electric sunroof, independent heating, dimmable LED lighting and a voltage converter for appliances up to 1000w (laptop). The whole thing is powered by a 50Ah LiFePO4 battery charged from both the alternator and the 100wp solar panel on the roof. You can store your clothes and personal belongings in the built-in lockers, so even when travelling in a smaller van, you’ll have things nicely organized. It provides a similar standard to our larger vans, with the exception of the chemical toilet – we will include a folding dry toilet on request.

The LYNX has a removable table top in the living area. The front seats can be swivelled to create very comfortable seating for 4 people. The van is further equipped with a manual folding awning and a rack for 2 bicycles.
